Captain Itoje ready to take place on Lions' wall of fame

MARO ITOJE has told the British and Irish Lions to make history — starting with Saturday’s opening Test against Australia.

The skipper was on the front foot in Queensland, backing up teammate Henry Pollock’s claim that the tourists are after a 3-0 win.

Itoje has also stood behind Ben Earl’s assertion that these Lions want to be known as the best in history by the time they fly back to Britain next month.
