TALKS have been taking place to resolve one of the longest-running conflicts in history. Deciding that it had gone on for too long, the Supreme Commander Of The Multiverse (SCM) summoned the principal combatants to a meeting to resolve matters.

The dispute dates to an event mentioned in Genesis. The SCM said it would be fruitless to speculate whether this was thousands or billions of years ago as time moves at varying speeds in different parallel universes. It was agreed, however, that fruit played a vital role, which centred on the expulsion order from the Garden of Eden served on Adam and Eve by God.

Adam's appeal to the Multiversal Planning Authorities against this expulsion had led to no decision, which was why the SCM had brought God and Adam to a meeting at a neutral venue in Alpha Centauri.
