LUCA STEPHENSON is expected to remain in the Dundee United squad for tomorrow night's visit to Motherwell despite suffering a suspected broken nose in a nasty facial injury last weekend.
The 22-year-old midfielder, above, needed lengthy treatment after being floored during the 3-1 win over St Mirren at Tannadice when he was caught by the boot of visiting captain Mark O'Hara.
However, gutsy Stephenson, who is on loan from Liverpool, picked himself off the deck and played on into the second half to help the fourth-placed Tangerines hold on for all three points.
Manager Jim Goodwin said: "Luca's mouth is in a bit of a state, he's got a serious cut in his gum.
