Citywide Chester Pride Cleanup

Chester has made phenomenal progress in tackling the blight throughout the city and the blitz appears to be working, though there are still some challenges.

The blight and cleanliness is very much connected to spirit and quality of life in all communities, it’s particularly important in underserved communities such as Chester. The sense of pride that residents feel in themselves, their community, and its leaders creates lasting bonds, which make neighbors more accountable and communities stronger.

On Saturday, September 27th 200 volunteers, community stakeholders, city leaders and residents came together to do a citywide community cleanup campaign throughout the City of Chester.
