Zwane reflects on AmaZulu's growth and missed opportunities for top-three finish

AMAZULU head coach Arthur Zwane believes his side has made meaning-ful progress this season—but admits missed opportunities have cost them a spot in the Betway Premiership’s top three.

Zwane, who initially shared the dugout with Vusimuzi Vilakazi follow-ing their joint appointment in Octo-ber, took full charge in February after Vilakazi’s exit.

Since then, the former Kaizer Chiefs boss has guided Usuthu to seventh place on the table with 33 points from 25 matches—a respectable position considering where the team stood when they took over.

“When the season started, at some point people saw us as a relegation team, but now, we have failed in five attempts to be in position three.

“Five attempts!” Zwane reflected this week.
