Pervert exposed himself to woman then attacked female police officer

A MAN from Runcorn exposed himself to a woman before launching a brutal and violent attack on a female police officer.

Peter Arthur Poole, of Quadrant Close, has been jailed for 21 months after appearing at Chester Crown Court.

The 43-year-old had previously pleaded guilty to exposure, two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and possession of cannabis.

Shortly after 4pm on Wednesday, April 30, a woman contacted Cheshire Police to say she had been sat on a field near to Wisbech Close, Runcorn, when a man approached her and exposed himself.

The woman walked away and called police, giving them a detailed description of the man, later identified as Poole.
