Free yoga sessions now available at second park

FREE weekly yoga sessions have returned to a park and have expanded to a second location.

Now in its second year, Yoga in the Park is back at Whitaker Park in Rawtenstall and these sessions are now available at Stubbylee Park in Bacup.

Attendance has soared since the initative launched in May, with more than 70 people regularly joining sessions in Rawtenstall, and more than 50 taking part each week in Bacup.

The aim is to make the benefits of yoga - physical movement, mindful breathing, and a sense of connection - accessible to everyone, regardless of income, ability, or experience.

The sessions are free to attend, but participants are able to make a donation allowing anyone to take part without financial pressure.
