Two injured and arrested after crash

TWO young men are seriously injured in hospital - and under arrest - after a reported car crash at a roundabout in the early hours of Sunday.

Emergency services were called to the roundabout in Slattocks, on the border of Rochdale and Middleton, at around 3.45am on Sunday.
The A627M stretch of motorway, which runs between Chadderton and Rochdale, was closed westbound between junction 2 of the M60 and the A664 Rochdale Road, near Slattocks, as a result.
