Tur procurement continues in major Tur producing states

In order to incentivise farmers for the enhancement of domestic pro duction of pulses and to support farmers’ income, the Government has approved the procurement of Tur (Arhar) under Price Support Scheme (PSS) equivalent to 25% of the production in the States during the year 2024-25.

The Government has also made arrangements for the procurement of Tur (Arhar) under Price Support Scheme (PSS) equivalent to 40% of the production for the State for another four years up to 2028-29.
