Punjab Cabinet Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur today visited flood-affected areas of Village Noor Shah, near Chand Bhan Drain in Fazilka district, and personally distributed relief material to the affected families.
She was accompanied by Fazilka MLA Narinder Pal Singh Sawna and former Abohar MLA Arun Narang. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Baljit Kaur said that under the leadership of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to ensuring all possible assistance to flood-affected people. She emphasized that there is no shortage of funds for relief operations, adding that in Fazilka constituency alone, relief material worth over ?70 lakh has been distributed.
