HOMEBOUND is a poignant drama that explores caste, class and systemic discrimination in India, anchored by powerful performances and sensitive direction.

The film follows Mohammed Shoaib Ali (Ishaan Khatter) and Chandan Kumar (Vishal Jethwa), two friends from marginalised communities who dream of becoming police constables to earn respect and stability.

On their journey to take the recruitment exam, they meet Sudha Bharti (JIanhvi Kapoor), a lower-caste girl who soon develops a relationship with Chandan.

However, when the exam results are delayed for over a year, both friends are forced to reconsider their futures. Shoaib works as a peon, while Chandan pursues higher education.
