One of the bonuses of my new job is meeting some very inspirational people who put your own problems into perspective.

On Monday, David Baker joined me on my show. In a couple of weeks, he'll be a pacesetter for the Great South Run, leading those aiming to finish in around one hour and forty-five minutes.
Why is this inspiring, you might ask? Because David was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) a few years ago - and is now wheelchair-bound.
He'll be pushed by his wife, Alice, who also completed the London Marathon with him last year. At the end of that race, David got out of his wheelchair and crossed the finish line on his own.
