Fashion festival to shine the spotlight on local talent

Seasoned Polokwane fashion designer, Laurence 'Livasto Mojalefa' Maboko, is preparing to host the sixth annual Limpopo Fashion Festival later this year - a celebration of style, creativity and the province's emerging fashion talent.
Maboko, who owns Promote it Development and Projects (Promote it Agency) and the PT College of Fashion, launched his business in 2013 and saw it begin to blossom in 2018 all while working as a hairdresser.
Today, his company not only runs a fashion school that trains students in design and garment construction, but also organises high-profile events such as the very popular Limpopo Fashion Festival.
