Green health workshops planned after funding boost

Forty Green Health workshops are to be set up in Perthshire following the award of key funding.

Community company Wild Workforce, set up in April this year, harnesses the power of nature to improve physical and mental health.

It has been awarded £18,000 in two tranches by NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation to deliver the innovative programme in Perthshire.

Wild Workforce CIC was established with the aim of promoting nature inspired activity and learning in Tayside.

NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation granted the financial support as it was impressed by the company's mission and aims.

Wild Workforce founder Clare Stephen said: “We are delighted that NHS Tayside have recognised the need for increased Green Health provision in Perthshire. The interest in the workshops has been just brilliant.
