Free mental health and wellbeing fest

The Perth and Kinross Mental Health and Wellbeing Festival is returning this month, offering the local community a welcoming and inclusive space to focus on wellbeing and self-care.

Hosted by Perth-based charity Trauma Healing Together, the free festival will take place at Perth Concert Hall on January 23 and January 24 with the theme, 'Self-Care Beyond the Buzzword'.

As well as celebrating self-care and empowerment, the two-day event will provide workshops, creative activities and community support for people of all ages and backgrounds.

The festival, funded by the NHS Tayside Charitable Foundation, will offer everything from upcycling workshops and nature-themed creative sessions to activities to support grief and emotional wellbeing.

Visitors can also spend peaceful moments with animals from chinchillas to tortoises, sing and dance at the silent disco, or try their hand at bracelet-making and hair braiding.
