WCED to release 2026 school admission offers this week

Parents can start expecting acceptance letters from the Western Cape Education Department (WCED) from Friday 30 May.
-
The on-time admissions window for Grade R, 1 or 8 for next year closed in April.
Since then, schools have been applying their admission policies to select successful candidates.
Parents will then be required to confirm their acceptance by Tuesday 17 June.
