Travel team stepped it up to help Quarriers

Quarriers is based in Bridge of Weir

Six determined ladies from Hays Travel successfully completed their half-marathon walking challenge in aid of charity Quarriers.

And in doing so, they managed to raise more than £2,600 for the local children’s service.

Yvonne Barber, Jillian McLeod, Janice McCallum, Hazel Chittick, Rowan Houston and Abbie Clark laced up their trainers and walked 13.1 miles - the equivalent of a half-marathon - in four hours and 22 minutes.
