SAINTS BOSS GIVES MOVE GREEN LIGHT

Stephen Robinson says he wasn’t going to stand in Greg Kiltie’s way after the midfielder sought a return to Kilmarnock.

Kiltie this week put pen to paper on a two-year deal with the Ayrshire side, with St Mirren stating both clubs had reached an “undisclosed agreement”.

The 28-year-old spent four seasons at the SMiSA Stadium, where he racked up 142 appearances and scored 11 goals.

He also played a significant role in helping the Saints into the top-six three years in a row, as well as playing in Europe for the first time in 37 years.

But he had limited game time last season, which Buddies boss Robbo says was a factor in his decision to leave Paisley.
