ST MIRREN READY FOR KEY TEST IN TITLE RACE

On the ball Saints have been determined to maintain a clean sheet

Kate Cooper is looking forward to St Mirren's game on Sunday with the top four teams in Barclay's Scottish Women's League One going head-to-head.

The Saints women will welcome title rivals Queen of the South to Mossedge Village on Sunday afternoon, with the Buddies sitting in third and the Doonhamers in fourth.

There will also be eyes on the other game, which sees Dunipace Ladies and Elgin City go toe-to-toe, with the two teams occupying first and second spot respectively.

Kate admits it is a pivotal weekend for all the teams who are separated by just three points, with both Saints and the Doonhamers having a game in hand.

The Buddies' head coach also says that if her side wins, no matter the result elsewhere, it will be a positive for their standing in the league.
