Here we are going into the last quarter of the year.

Labour promised to reduce bills

Luckily, we are still enjoying some decent late summer temperatures. I say luckily as we have just been told about an increase in energy costs from the regulator Ofgem.

Lovely, just in time for winter a nice two per cent energy price increase just in case we forgot about how day-to-day living costs are going through the roof.

Wait, I hear you cry. The Westminster Government promised to reduce energy costs by £300.

Yes, quite right, they did. They made this promise even though they knew that it was the regulator Ofgem that set energy prices, not them.

What has actually happened is that energy prices have increased by £187 since this new government came in to power with their 'promises!
