Paisley and District dart players competed for this season's Hagg Trophy on Monday night.

Hagg Trophy is in the Pockets

First up was a match between Clachan Arrows and the current holders, Hagg Bar A, with the game being played in the Hagg Bar backroom - normally home to the Hagg C team.

Hagg Bar A took control of the tie right away, winning the first two doubles games, before Clachan Arrows struck back to take match three to leave the score at 2-1.

In the singles contests, a 2-1 win for Paul Hanvidge levelled affairs 2-2 but successive 2-1 victories for Richie Baillie, Mick Malone and Dougie Low gave the Hagg Bar team a hard-fought 5-2 win and put them in the final.

Semi-final two was between Pockets A and Flying Horse and played on the front board in the Hagg Bar.
