Residents across Renfrewshire have been warned to urgently check their electricity meters as the Radio Teleswitch Service (RTS) signal switch off draws closer.

It is less than 50 days until Monday, June 30, when the RTS signal, which controls certain older energy meters, will be switched off.
And Tom Arthur MSP has warned anyone who uses the system to check if they have a replacement ready.
