Johnstone Burgh were all business as they sentenced Benburb to the dreaded drop.

Murdo MacKinnon's men showed no mercy at New Tinto Park on Saturday as the home side's stay in the West of Scotland League Premier Division (WoSFL) was brought to an end.

Bens went into their final game knowing they needed to win and hope Shotts Bon Accord - also turning out for the last time this season - lost at already relegated Gartcairn.

Burgh arrived in south-west Glasgow hoping to move a step closer to finishing best of the rest behind champions Clydebank while the players would have been keen to nail down their starting slots for this Sunday's Junior Cup semi-final second leg with Largs Thistle at Barrfields.
