Brilliant Buddies an inspiration

If I had told you a year ago that thousands of Paisley Buddies would have gathered, impromptu, on a wet Sunday night in our town square to celebrate a victory in a cup final against one of the giant sides of our Glasgow neighbours, I doubt you'd have believed me.

But it happened.

Stephen Robinson and his St Mirren team believed in themselves and delivered a historic victory none of us will ever forget.

Now I want us all to do it again.

I'm not trying to be Nostradamus. I'm not trying to predict winners of cup competitions or suggest where you should put your money on at the bookies.

But I am asking you to believe. To hold onto the belief that we can make tomorrow better than today and that we can do so by our own efforts. By believing in ourselves. By trusting in each other.

Just like Stephen Robinson and his boys did.
