Bid to create fitness studio for women

Plans to transform a storage unit in Paisley into a female-focused personal training studio have been submitted to Renfrewshire Council.

MJK Architectural Studios has lodged a bid for planning permission on behalf of an applicant for the venture at the CoVault facility in McFarlane Street.

If given the green light, Bloom Fitness Studio would look to create a members’ space where women can train together in a “safe and private” environment.

A supporting statement explained: “The unit would be used as a female-focused personal training studio which would be confined to bookings only and not open to the general public for use as a regular commercial gym.
