A spook-tacular boost for Renfrewshire

Once again, we were lucky enough to experience the Halloween Festival in Paisley over the weekend.

Top attraction Paisley's Halloween Festival draws thousands of people and boosts the town's economy

I'm probably luckier than most in that I live right in the centre of town - so have easy access to all it has to offer - but, in my view, and probably more importantly, as a grandad I can get the kids over and experience the whole thing along with them.

I can tell you, hand on heart, the whole adventure we undertake during festival time is just for them, not for me.

Well, maybe a wee bit.

The two-day festival puts Renfrewshire on the map and, in particular, Paisley showing all the town has to offer. The civic centre of Renfrewshire is big enough to hold such an event which attracts tens of thousands of people over the weekend. It draws people from the whole of the county and beyond.
