UU observes RTI Day on 20th anniversary

To commemorate two decades since the enactment of the Right to Information (RTI) Act, the department of Public Administration at Utkal University (UU) organised a special observance of RTI Day here Wednesday.

The RTI Act-2005, the only law that empowers citizens to access official information, was enacted June 15 and enforced October 12. Utkal University’s chairperson of PG Council Mitali Chinara graced the occasion as chief guest.
