Services of 13K teachers to be regularised: CM

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi Friday announced that the services of over 13,000 teachers appointed under various schemes will be regularised and said that 45,000 more will be recruited over the next three years.
He made the announcements while addressing the state-level Teachers' Day celebration and Chief Minister's Education Award Ceremony in Bhubaneswar. To check dropout rates, the CM said the state government has already extended midday meal scheme till Class X and also introduced 'Madho Singh Haat Kharcha' scheme under which a onetime incentive of ₹5,000 is provided to ST students getting enrolled in Classes IX and XI.
