Guv stresses community role in TB fight

Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati Tuesday stressed the vital role of community participation and social responsibility in eradicating tuberculosis (TB) and achieving the national target under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
Chairing a high-level review meeting on the campaign’s progress in Odisha at Raj Bhavan, the Governor urged citizens to adopt TB patients and support their nutritional needs financially.
To encourage public participation, he announced that Raj Bhavan will provide POSHAN kits to 100 TB patients.
