What is your strongest memory of landing your Coronation Street roles?
Jack: I was 12 and on a train when I found out. Jane McNaught, the producer at the time, said, “Shall we read it again?” and I said, “Nah, I'm happy with that.” Everyone laughed.
Julia: Also on a train. I found out within about three hours of doing the audition. Then I just scrambled over the poor boy next to me on the train to find a space to call my then boyfriend... through the tears.
Samia: I was just thinking, “I've got a job for potentially six months”. Obviously not thinking for one second I'd still be there 25 years later.
When was the last time you were on stage?
