Tram times change to last at least one more month
Nottingham Post
|November 06, 2025
A NEW tram timetable trial has been extended for a month after journeys increased by nearly 70,000 during the Goose Fair.
The trial began on October 6 and was initially due to last a month, but tram bosses now say the Goose Fair shows the strong demand for the new timetable to continue.
Tram operator NET says passenger numbers rose 13% during the ten-day fair this year compared to last - the equivalent of 68,000 more journeys.
Trams run more often for much of the evening under the trial to serve the nighttime economy and bosses say the latest extension will help those attending the Winter Wonderland, which returns on November 12.
