A NEW Brazilian steakhouse where gaucho chefs continually serve meat to the table is to open in Nottingham.

The restaurant, Rio Brazilian Steakhouse, is planning to move into a former cocktail bar, Olivia's Townhouse, in Chapel Bar.

Managing director Howard Eggleston told the Post they hope to open in September. He said: “We are opening in the two-storey 10,000sq ft unit. We are looking to bring a taste of Brazil into Nottingham with our fantastic rodizio-style restaurant with an amazing salad bar and 20 selections of meats carved at your table and this continues until you tell us to stop.
