Store fined over food hygiene breaches

A POLISH supermarket in Mansfield has been ordered to pay more than £6,000 after selling unpackaged raw meat.

Bil Bolek I Lolek Mansfield, in Stockwell Gate, was found to have broken strict food hygiene rules after a previous inspection resulted in a zero rating.
An order and notice were put in place in March last year after an inspection from officers from Mansfield District Council found the store was in breach of strict food safety rules.
The council says the store has since made improvements and achieved a food hygiene rating of three.
