Reds ace Murillo urges Brazil fans to show patience

MURILLO has hardly put a foot wrong for Nottingham Forest since arriving at the City Ground for a bargain ₤11m from Brazilian club Corinthians in August 2023.

The no-nonsense centre-back is one of the Reds' top performers again this season and looks on course to help guide them to qualification for Champions League football next term, despite a 2-1 defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday.
However, back home in Brazil, things are not quite as rosy for the 22-year-old after his disastrous debut for the national team last month. Brazil lost a World Cup qualifier 4-1 to old foes Argentina and Murillo was hooked at half-time before facing a backlash from the domestic media.
