Praise for mini marathon marvels

MORE than 100 pupils from Nottinghamshire schools have been praised after taking part in the Robin Hood Mini Marathon to raise money for charity.

George Osgood won the Richard Whitehead Empowerment Award
The young runners' efforts were celebrated at a special ceremony held on Sunday, September 28, at the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Conference Centre.
The winners across different age groups, ranging from under seven to under 17 - were awarded their prizes by Nottinghamshire-born Paralympic athlete Richard Whitehead.
