Owners tell of sadness at closure of Tony’s

THE closure of a restaurant which served “fantastic food” has been confirmed with the owners saying “it's a decision we never wanted to make”.

Tony's Bar and Grill, on Chilwell Road, in Beeston, appeared to have closed its doors without warning last week. The website was no longer taking bookings and the building stayed shut during normal opening hours, with diners visiting on Sunday, March 1, claiming they learnt from staff that it was the final day.

But after days of speculation, a spokesperson for the business confirmed the site's closure in a statement posted on Friday evening.
