New stage and attractions lined up for 'bigger and better' Pride

A NEW stage, bar and line-up of food vendors are among the major changes visitors can expect at this year's Nottinghamshire Pride.

The LGBTQ+ event will return to the city on Saturday, July 26, and will be based at Sneinton Market for a second year.

More than 10,000 people attended last year, the first time the main stage was in Sneinton after being in Hockley for several years.

Pride revellers have been told this year's event will feature a “jam-packed” lineup of entertainment, including performances, live music, and activities for all ages.

The parade will once again wind its way through the streets of Nottingham, ending in Sneinton Market, where the festivities will continue throughout the day.

A new acoustic stage has been set up at nearby Sneinton Market venue the Grove, which opened last summer.

There will also be two fully licensed bars and a new selection of food vendors.
