It's high stakes as Magpies aim to hit back in play-offs

STUART Maynard is not concerned about Notts County's form heading into the League Two play-offs as they prepare to face AFC Wimbledon in a two-legged semi-final.

The Magpies had a slim chance of stealing third spot and with it automatic promotion on the final day but they lost 2-1 to already-promoted Doncaster Rovers, who lifted the League Two title on the pitch at Meadow Lane.
Four defeats in the last six games to end the league season do not put the Magpies in the best place in terms of momentum.
AFC Wimbledon's final-day victory away against Grimsby Town took them above the Magpies, meaning they will play at home in the second leg on Saturday, May 17 (12.30pm).
Nonetheless, Maynard believes his squad have it in them to treat this play-off tie as a clean slate, putting their stuttering form of late behind them to try and get back to their best with a trip to Wembley on the line.
