Giant platform for one of world's largest cranes on bridge project

ONE of the largest cranes in the world will lift Nottingham’'s newest River Trent crossing into place.
-
And now a dedicated crane platform has been created on the south bank as work continues on the huge new structure.
The first new crossing built over the Trent in Nottingham for more than 65 years, it will link the Trent Basin off Daleside Road to an area near the Hook nature reserve in Lady Bay.
