Justin Fletcher spun lie after lie to get his hands on the money from his partner's parents

A FRAUDSTER fleeced his longterm partner and her parents of just short of £340,000 to fund his cocaine and gambling addictions.

Nottingham Crown Court heard Justin Fletcher spun lie after lie to get the money and led to the retired parents now looking to sell their home of 40 years due to the debt.

They remortgaged their property and talked friends and family into also lending cash because of their belief that their grandchildren might end up evicted or in care if they did not help.

In a victim impact statement, the mother told how she felt "devastated because she worked in a bank for years and prevented many people from being conned out of their money".
