FOREST ACE ONE BOOKING AWAY FROM SUSPENSION
Nottingham Post
|October 30, 2025
NECO Williams goes into Saturday's clash with Manchester United one slip away from suspension.
The Nottingham Forest fullback has picked up four bookings so far this season and knows his next could lead to a one-game ban.
The versatile defender has already been cautioned against Brentford, Arsenal, Sunderland and Chelsea and so a fifth yellow card will put him out.
He has been treading this tightrope for the last two Premier League matches but he still has another 10 to go if he is to avoid punishment.
According to The FA's disciplinary rules, any player who earns five bookings from their side's first 19 Premier League matches of a season will have to serve a one-match ban in the same competition.
Premier League yellow cards are not carried over to the EFL Cup or FA Cup.
Players who accumulate 10 yellow cards in Premier League matches up to and including their side’s 32nd fixture will serve a two-match suspension in the competition.
