Defections signal 'end of Conservatives' says Anderson

LEE Anderson predicted the “end of the Conservative Party” at the Reform UK event in Newark.

The Reform MP for Ashfield and party chief whip was one of the speakers at Monday's rally.
Mr Anderson had previously served as a Conservative MP from 2019 until 2024, when he joined Reform, but has now said the party is part of a system that has presided over decline in Britain.
Referring to the three defections from the Conservatives to Reform under Kemi Badenoch's leadership, Mr Anderson said: "To lose three looks like the end of the Conservative Party.
