Cunha talks on the cards over Forest switch

A MEETING to decide the future of Nottingham Forest target Jair Cunha is set to take place this week.

Previous reports had suggested the Reds’ hopes of signing the centre-back from Botafogo were in the balance. However, the outlook appears to be more positive now the Brazilian side have been knocked out of the Club World Cup.

Striker Igor Jesus has already confirmed he is leaving Botafogo for the City Ground.

With his participation in the FIFA tournament over, he is expected to go through the process of completing the switch to link up with Nuno Espirito Santo’s side.
