Country park lodge put on market for £200,000

A HISTORIC lodge in a country park is being sold at auction.

Grade-Il listed Nottingham Lodge, in Shipley Country Park, built in 1910 by architect Sir Walter Tapper.
Currently owned by Derbyshire County Council, the building - between Shipley Hall and Shipley Lake - has fallen into disrepair, residents say, with some calling for the two-storey sandstone property to be better protected due to its historic status.
