FORMER Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton has emerged as a potential target for Nottingham Forest ahead of the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old came up through the ranks at Anfield and made a handful of appearances for the senior side. He left the club for Lyon in the summer but a quick return to the Premier League could now be on the cards.

The Reds are said to be among a number of clubs "following him closely" as they plot their transfer business for 2026. TEAMtalk have also credited Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion, Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United and Everton with an interest in Morton.
