THE saga surrounding Nottingham Forest's participation in Europe next season is set to drag on, following confirmation of an appeal by Crystal Palace.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport have confirmed they have received an appeal from the Eagles 'against UEFA, Nottingham Forest and Olympique Lyonnais'. It comes after Palace were demoted from the Europa League due to allegedly breaching multi-club ownership rules, with the Reds in line to take their place.

Forest had qualified for the Conference League with last term's seventh-placed finish in the Premier League.
