Petrol prices in Bangor Petrol prices around Llandudno and Colwyn Bay

Motorists living in Llandudno and Colwyn Bay, and the surrounding area, have questioned why they are paying more to fill up their car than “20 minutes along” the A55 in Bangor.

They are particularly annoyed at supermarket giants Asda and Tesco for having such a gulf between their prices in Conwy and Gwynedd.

On Petrolprices.com on Friday Tesco in Llandudno Junction was charging 139.9 per litre while at Bangor (just 17 miles away) it was 131.9. There was a similar price gap between the Asda stores in Llandudno and Bangor. Meanwhile Asda Express in Old Colwyn was 141.9.
