THE transformation of Barnstaple’s waterfront has entered its concluding chapter as work begins on the final phase of the landmark Taw Wharf redevelopment.
A total of 27 new homes - including 14 affordable properties - are being delivered through a joint project between North Devon Homes and Pearce Construction, marking a major milestone in the long-running scheme to revitalise the riverside.
Work on the final phase officially began as senior representatives from both organisations met on site to mark the occasion including Paul Knox, managing director of Pearce Construction, and Martyn Gimber, chief executive of North Devon Homes, alongside team members from both companies.
