CM Hemant Soren slams intel failure on Pahalgam attack; faces BJP fire for Europe trip spending, lack of outcomes

: In his first reaction to the Pahalgam terror attack after his return from Spain and Sweden on Wednesday, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the incident highlights a serious lack in the country’s intelligence system. He expressed hope that such incidents would not occur in the future.

However, he added that no amount of condemnation would suffice. “This incident deserves all the condemnation it can get, but somewhere the country's information system is lacking. We hope that such an incident does not take place in the future,” said CM Hemant Soren.

Aiming to make Jharkhand a major global investment destination and attract investors through Foreign Direct Investment (FDI), Chief Minister Hemant Soren, along with his wife Kalpana Soren, the Chief Secretary, and secretaries of select departments, visited Europe from April 19 to 27.
