PVR redefines luxury with 2nd Maison

Multiplex chain PVR Inox is fast building up its premium and luxury cinema formats, which already comprise 13.8% of its overall portfolio. The company launched its second Maison cinema in Mumbai on Thursday, at the Jio World Plaza. The first Maison is housed at Jio World Drive.

The latest cinema will host six screens including two Insignia screens, one IMAX screen with laser technology, besides three premiere screens. Insignia refers to a luxury format of PVR Inox, which offers recliners, gourmet food and, often, a personal butler service. The property will house a bar and lounge called GATSBY'S, along with a food and beverage menu curated by celebrity chefs such as Sarah Todd, Vicky Ratnani, Yutaka Saito and Mayank Tiwari.
